Fleas, eclair and french frites...
Today I met up with my friend Marc from London for a little wander in the Puces of Clignancourt. We both have found some treasures... a whole new family of Pierrots for my collection, they're so adorable and made me think of my fellow band mates "The dames on the moon"!, also some cute little golden bats I'm gonna use for a new head dress I think. But my most precious item is a 78 rpm of one of my favourite songs: "Perfidia"! The man in the shop was so nice and gave it to me for free! I'm really considering buying a portable gramophone to play it with some other lovely records at picnics this summer! Marc found the perfect wedding present for friends of ours who are getting married soon! I'm not gonna say what it is and spoil the surprise...hehehe. And... the highlight of my day was all these sweet gifts from my best friend Ane and her husband P-R who passed them to Marc for me. Marc is such a darling messenger! He treated me with a delicious plate of French "frites" that we shared and at the end of our lovely afternoon we took a picture in a photobooth in the metro. That was pretty epic, we both didn't have enough change and poor Marc had to run up twice to a bakery to make some, that is why we had a funny prop to use in our photos... you always need an eclair au chocolat when you come to Paris! Hope you guys had a wonderful day!

Nei miei sogni ballo con te...
Today my friend Diego and I went to a garden in my neighborhood to work on the script of his short film. It was another sunny day and I can't think of a better way to both hang out and do some heavy brainstorming. :) We came up with some good ideas and I can't wait to actually shoot it. But first,I have to improve my poor italian. it took him a lot of patience until I agreed to read some lines. I tried to turn his attention away by singing the (cheesiest) only italian song I know by heart: "che confusione, sara perche ti amo..". well. it didn't work. 
I'm sure some of you will be curious to hear this big hit...here it is!

Dreamy room, Picnic, Cherry Blossom
The day started with Lili and her friend who stayed over, rearranging her bedroom in such a dreamy way! those girls are rad interior designers! Then I took off on my own (the girls wanted to stay in their little palace..who would blame them) to meet my partners in crime for another picnic but this time at the "cite universitaire". It's a campus based in the south of Paris where international students live and there is also lots of cool things going on there like concerts and crazy parties. The park is amazing and it feels like another world when you go through the gates.. it's really a special place. A lovely hang out for picnics. We ended this beautiful summery day at "Chez Adel" near the canal st martin to see our friend Matthieu Ha play. Poi Poi had his taxi today so we felt so special driving for free and blasting some good punk music and the dear old Django. I love my city on days like this...
